MY FIRST COLD PLUNGE
Yesterday my sister who lives in Utah text me 5 minutes before she was about to do her first cold plunge.
She was nervous and asking for tips.
She crushed it, and ended up doing great.
It got me thinking about my very first cold plunge nearly 5 years ago.
Anytime I see someone in the studio or at one of my workshops who doesn’t make it the full 2 minutes, I remind them that I lasted about 10 seconds my first time.
Everyone has their own journey.
Even though my first plunge involved ZERO training, and was really a result of my quest for anxiety relief, it changed my life.
Everyone remembers their first cold plunge.
For some, it also changes their lives.
What a simple practice, yet with the potential to be a powerful tool for enhanced physical and mental health for a lifetime.
I don’t plan on ever stopping.
I dug out the old video that captures my first plunge.
I was skinnier then, and didn’t know what I was doing, and honestly, my life was pretty messy back then.
But I share this in hopes that maybe you pause to remember all of the progress that you’ve made in your own life.
Not just your cold plunge progress, but everything.
Take a moment to feel proud of the stuff you’ve worked through.

Here’s to pausing to honor your own progress,

P.S. What are you doing Sunday (if you live near Sarasota)?
Based on tons of positive feedback, I decided to do ONE MORE Breathwork on the Beach this Sunday at sunset.
Spots are already filling up, but if you book early you can save $10 by using the code: TAKE10.
The price bumps to $40 on Friday if there’s any tickets left.
P.P.S. The clock is also ticking on gifts! I can’t think of a “cooler” gift to give someone than the gift of a 5 pack at Kensho to start their new year off right.
It’s one that they’ll never forget:)
Gift them a 5 pack >>>HERE.
